What is this piece called???
I had my car on a lift and I noticed that I could see my flywheel. I know their is a cover that goes over it. If you know what this cover is called, where I could get one, and how much I would GREATLY APPRECIATE it. THANK YOU!!!

Its called a "flywheel cover" and you will need 4 bolts to bolt it on. Chrome ones are available, but you can just yank one off a junkyard car for a few bucks.

As the original meaning of this post has been answered allow me to change it slightly. I was working on my car with my dad and he noticed the my flywheel was wobbling. He tightened it but it still happened. We think it was bent when was put on. It does not make any noise nor does it look like it will have any ill effects. What should I do?

I just looked at "parts for sale" at this site and found out that their are tons of people parting out F-bodys. You can do what I did and email them. The prices I got were like 15-25 bucks for one (hopefully they won't be bent) but you could probably just buy a different or new one from this site. I'm not for sure if you need one, but if it bothers you I think you should replace it.

GTAlover, just checking, you do know that Flywheels come on Manual's and Flex Plates come on Auto's right? I think the cover may be different for each of them.

Actually I didn't know that, I've been talking about the flywheel cover though. Neo- missed read your question about your flywheel, the prices I gave out were for a flywheel cover for a automatic.

I have only been under auto's to see in my experience. Some friends and I were working on another friends 91 RS 5.0 manual. I wasn't the one under the car taking the sheild off but I think it had something like a graval sheild, I believe it was flat. The auto's covers, are curved and completely enclose the torque converter and the flexplate.
