is it a good idea to install a shift kit on a th400 with 48k miles?
just wondering, cause i ordered one from jegs the other day... someone on another board said that itd be a bad idea to install one with more than 50k miles... at least thats what his transmission shop told him...

any truth to this?

I don't think it will hurt anything. There are many people on here with shifts kits that have 100,000+ miles on their trannys and i don't think have any problems.
