Another trans shifting hard problem 700R4

I have been having problems with my tranny shifting funny eversince I have put the holley carb on it, i custom made a bracket for the cables and it shifted and kicked down ok . Today I put the holley geometry corrector on the carb and the correct bracket that goes with it and now it shifts hard and at high rpms. It has never really did like this before and I would like to make it shift right and not damage my tranny. What should I do to make it shift more like it did originally like under hard acceleration it would shift at about 5000 rpms and it would kick down a couple of gears when u hammer it. If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have ajusted it like the book says by pushing the metal d shaped tab and push the slider in and full throttle so that it comes out of the housing by itself, I have also ajusted it all the way in and drove it and all the way out and drove it. The best way that I have made it shift is about in the middle thats where it comes by itself. thanks for your input

Re: Another trans shifting hard problem 700R4

i am using the 20-95 cable bracket and the 20-121 geometry corrector. I am ajusting the cable by pushing the button then full throttle until it stops and supposedly thats how u do it everywhere i have read on here and the haynes and chilton books that I have. If someone could please give me some helpfull info I would really appreciate it so I dont gut my tranny.thanks
