is there a shifter like the tremec for the t-56?
if you have every driven or gone through the gears in a trmec with a pro 5.0 shifter then you'll know what im talking about. the throws are like and 1" 1/2 apart which is awesome! is there a shifter like this for the t-56 though, i swear i saw somewhere awhile back something like this but i cant remember where. if you know please fill me in.

Yep, Pro 5.0 makes a shifter for the T56. Try Jegs or Summit.

Is the Hurst or B&M not like the Pro 5.0 one?? I thought that those were the only two aftermarket shifters available for the T56. Don't they have a pretty short throw too?

Ok is this shifter really worth the extra 50-60 bucks than the Hurst or B&M? I'm not sure what about this shifter makes it cost $210. They say because it is all steel construction that it is much stonger than the others. I just don't see myself breaking a piece of billet aluminum i half when I bang through the gears. Does the Pro 5.0 have shorter throws or anything else that makes it better than the Hurst or B&M?

if the pro 5.0 for the t-56 is like the one for the tremec, then yes the throws are really close, and you get what you paid for. i dont see myself breaking a piece of billet either but i want short throws. the shifter really feels nice and tight.
