driveline wobbling???

driveline wobbling???

after it hit a curb a week ago.. the driveline is noisy,, looked under and can see it wobble ??? u joints appear to be ok??.. also trasmission now has a bad leak from in front of the drain pan??/.......help please!!..........85 z28 305 tpi 700r4

I'm not going to be able to go into detail, but how hard did you hit the curb? Are we talking clipped it going around a corner too tight, or like 60mph spinout into it? Sounds as if you have some major damage, If you developed a wobble from it then I'd say you've got something bent or knocked out of alignment.

well it was about 30 mph at about 45 degrees... right front tire hit first i blew out fist and the car ran right into the curb shattered the rim

if you mean the wheel wobbles, then you may have bent the axle or more likely the axle flange. Have you had it into a shop yet?

no the axels are ok i had them out already ,,did break the pin in the differintial though...... put in new one!! its the driveshaft that wobbling
