Is this all that is needed to allow the tranny to shift into 4th at WOT?

As for as I can tell, all I need is the upshift valve that was fitted on the corvette. Is this correct? I keep running out of third gear and like to keep my foot burried deep in the **** pile.

Also, does anyone have the part#of this part or the parts I need? The computer wont need a new EPROM will it? plus, is it difficult to install?

Thanks for the time

Rob

I had the tranny shop install the B&M upshift kit when I got the rebuild.Works great. The few times I tested it,it would not downshift out of 4th gear unless I manually shifted it.

Actually the B&M kit won't let you kick down from 4th to 3rd. It's not a 3-4 WOT upshift valve.

But I do have the B&M valve, and if I let off the gas a bit from WOT (to get from 3rd to 4th), once I'm in 4th, the B&M valve holds it for good.
