Brake lines q's

I will be swapping an 86 drum rear into my 89 drum formula soon. I pretty much have everything except for the brake lines. I heard that they could be different threads on the lines, is that true? If not then i will just reuse the 89 stuff.

Also, i am not quite sure of the year, Here are the only # that are on it: GM N 22522676
Can anyone ID this?

Thanks

86 to 89 will have the same threads. The only difference is in 82-84 had standard fittings while 85 on had metric. One more thing to look for, which I had a problem on is the flare. I'm npot sure what years had what, in the junk yards it seem to be random where some years had both types of flares. There are the double flare which I had(85 firebird) and the single flare lines which seem to be in the 82 - 84 and randomly in newer ones to even include some 4th gen i looked at. Hope this helps... erik

Thanks for the info, i decided to buy new cylinders and reuse my lines that are on there now. That way i don't have to worry about it.

Nope, you're off by a year. '84+ has metric fittings.
