Need some help installing a Lakewood Bellhousing.

I need some help on installing a lakewood bellhousing. Is there any special kinds of dial indicator bases for dialing in the bellhousing? How can you tell when to use offset dowel pins.
Does anyone know where i can find books, diagrams, tools or any info on dialing in a Lakewood bellhousing. Id appreciate any help.
Thanks

Lakewood sells a bellhousing locating kit. I'm not sure whats included but I'm pretty sure Jegs has it for a couple bux.

Apparently this job is supposed to be more difficult than I thought? Not trying to be a smarta**, but I bought the scattershield made for my car and bolted it on.
