Re: max tire size

You'll probably have issues with the diameter. I had 28x12.5x15's on mine once, and those needed some work for the diameter. The tire by itself wasn't too tall, but the ballooning was. You could probably fit them though with some work.

Re: max tire size

I have 325/50/15s on mine now, and those measure 27.5x13x15. I was looking into using a set of 315/60/15s that should be about 29.5x13x15. It would take either some HEAVY beating or some cutting/welding on the front of the inner fenders and rolling the lip on the top of the fenders. I think the diameter will fit, but somehow my axle isn't centered in the wheel well. Using a non-radial type of tire requires more clearances, but you should have the same game plan.

Re: max tire size

yea if i have a problem with height i could just lift the car a bit with the coilovers and if the axle is'nt centered i can adjust the ladderbars but is there any supports in the front of the wheel well i got to worry about when i either hammer or weld it

Re: max tire size

my QTP's measure out 28.5x11.50 (about 28.5x10 in slicks).. and there is definitely room for another inch.. i only hammered a bit..
