Did GM ever use the T-5 with a 4.3? I need a spare t-5 while I look for a better tranny and since the 4.3 has the same bolt pattern as the small block I was thinking I could use one of those. Does anybody know if it is like the other t-5s used with the v6's or is it stronger? Thanks.

yes they did put a t-5 behind a 4.3 however it uses an 11 inch 14 splne clutch . so you would probably need the flywheel, clutch set and the trans , everything else should work fine.
