Clutch to use with engine swap

Have an 86 Z into which I'm slipping a built 76 small block. Problem is that my car originally had the single piece rear main seal, so I had to change out to a custom flywheel through Summit for 83-85 Chevy Z's (should accept a 10.4" clutch set?). A clutch set originally designed for my 86 Z doesn't seem to fit. I've visited a few places around here to check out whether the 85 Z used a different clutch set, but they all list the same part number as the 86 Z.

Help! My poor Z hasn't been driven in over a year and I can't find the right clutch set. Any advice on exactly what clutch set I should be looking for? Is it really this hard to get a clutch set for 83-85 f-bodies?

Thanks.

No, it's an extremely ordinary clutch.

It sounds to me like you got the wrong flywheel. What you need is a plain common ordinary flywheel for a 82-85 V8 car. If you have that, then any of the clutches that anybody sells for these cars, will bolt right up.

Exactly what kind of flywheel do you have? Count the ring gear teeth, if it's a Chevy flywheel at all it should have either 153 or 168. Or, measure the diameter; should be either 12¾" or 14".
