How much time to change speedo gears in a T5?

Ok, here is the situation. I am wanting to get the car running before this coming weekend of the 30th. I finally got the body all back together from the body shop, got it running decent now. I just need to correct the speedo due to the 3.73.. I finally have all of the gears and what not.
How long/hard would it be to put those gears in? Less than one night?
What all is involved? And do you HAVE to pull the tranny out?

Thanks,
Brendan

If you have to change the drive gear, then yes, you will have to pull the trans out. You have to take the extension housing off, which I doubt would be possible with the trans still in the car. Even if it is possible, it would still certainly be faster with it out.

If the drive gear is OK and all you need to do is swap the driven gear, it will take you longer to jack up and support the car than it will take to do the swap, even if you have a lift.
