should shift improv kit hit 2nd

i had my trans built and i got the car back this morning. i had a shift improvement kit installed alone with the rebuild. i havent had a real chance to try it under hard accelaration yet, but with regular driven it seems the same. could the kit be hiding until i gas it hard, or is this standard?

Re: should shift improv kit hit 2nd

that depends on the kit, and a few other variables inside the trans.
