Why are there 2 Series Gears for 10 bolts, but not 9 bolts?

Like the topic kind of says, why are there 373 2 series gears for 10 bolts, but none for 9 bolts? I'm really getting sick of my 277's but...i seem to be screwed when it comes to a choice of a carrier vs new rear.

DTS sells the US gears for your set up and also have an adapter for the carrier id you need it and with your gears it looks like you do

So 373's would fit without changeing out the carrier...well, thats kind of a sigh of relief.. Guess i'll check it out...

they are really 3.70 gears and are made for the 3.27 and up carrier. but, have an adapter to allow them to be used on carriers like yours.

You can up to 4.11's for the 9 bolt, but you will need a series 3 carrier. I would not run a spacer.

Carriers and gears will be available soon

Currently installing 3.73's into my 9 bolt (YES,it is a 9 bolt & YES they are 3.73's, not 3.70. 4.11's to follow soon )

88 427: who will be makeing these gears? and will they work with my 2 series carrier like 373's work with a 10 bolts 2 series carrier? I'm just trying to get those 277's outta there and something like 373 or such in there for a cheaper price than what i estimated earlier (500 - 600 buckeroo's)

who ever told you your 3.70 gears would cost 500-600 is insane and really needs there head checked it will cost about half that from DTS they told me it would cost $325.00 for the gears if I only needed the gears(3.27 and up carrier would only need the gears) but, in your case you would need the adapter. but, I don't see them charging double for that!

Why dont they cast the damn adapter with the gear and sell it as a series 2 carrier gear for a 9 bolt!!!! And why the hell do we have to pay double for our gears??????
