Ok, I converted my '88 Camaro for TBI to '90 SD TPI. I didn't change the VSS, but I want to make it right now. The TBI is a 2-pulse, and the SD TPI uses a 4-pulse. What do I have to do? What do I have to by? If I just buy a '90 TPI VSS from GM can I put it in or are there other complications.

I called Dakota Digital and their speedo interface box SGI-5 can double the input signal from the your VSS. So it should be able to increase it from 2000 PPM to the 4000 PPM you are looking for. Their number is 1-800-593-4160 or the website is www.dakotadigital.com. The interface box cost $80. Good luck.
