Putting in a BW T-5 in place of my 700R4

The T-5 I have is out of a 91 and it has the electric speedometer in the tail. What do I need to do change it back to the cable driven system. Can I use the sender from the 700r4 or are they completely different systems?

The 700R4 and T5 use different VSS systems. You need a cable-type speedo VSS from a mechanical T5. I dont know if you can still get one from the dealer but maybe someone has one in the classifieds.

I was uable to find the sensor but, while I was at the junk yard (getting a new diff.) I asked if I could have one out of a camero 86? 2.8 5 speed. so he said sure and now I got the piece that the speedo gears goes on and the cable also atatches too. I hope this is what you are looking for
