i just got one but i heard that there is a special tool to get the c ring out.. or what can i use to get it out.. also is it pretty self explainitory how to put the new one in.. also what can i expect when i get the new one in.. also should i change the tranny filter while i am down there.. thanks for the help..

this run is before the new exhaust system new sticky tires coolant by pass smog removal new runners new thermostat and new three core radiator since i would get to the line and be well over 220* aluminum drive shaft and vette servo

 

You will need a scribe (scriber) to get to the seal, get underneath & pull down, then cut it & pull one side down, it will unravel. Remove the old servo and replace with the Corvette servo and new O-rings in reverse order, done.
