does anybody know if a 91 camaro RS has 28 spline? im about to order some SLP stuff and i need to know for sure. to use the slp takeoff posi you need 28 spline. its a 10 bolt too right?

 

gm went to 28 spline in 89, but 88 was a transition year so you see both 26 and 28 in 88s, so yes you have 28 spline, or you should if nothings been changed.

According to the parts guy at my local dealer, 28 spline axles arent until 1990. The part numbers for 82-89 10-bolt axles is the same (26 spline), and so is the part numbers for 85-89 9-bolts (also 26 spline).

Yes your 91 RS should have 28 spline axles in a 10-bolt, the SLP take off posi will fit fine.
