T-56 Swap problem

I Have a T-56 in my 91 Rs. I used the Dakota Digital speedo interface to calibrate my stock electric speedo but it gets bad interference when sitting still. the interference increases if I rev the motor when sitting still. Does anyone else have this problem or any suggestions?

I had this problem with my Cyberdyne box for a while. It hasn't happened in a while though so I'm not sure why it did it. Well come to think of it, when I went on a road trip down to New Orleans I had a freind's small cb radio to communicate back and forth between cars and whenever I would talk on it my speedo jumped around alot. There were other times though before this when it would do the same thing. Not sure why though.

Call Dakota Digital. They will help you with your problem unlike Cyberdyne.

I have called dakota digital, all they could tell me is I had some interference from the tach signal. It didnt take a rocket scientist to figure that out. I need to know how to get rid of it.

Is your coil noise suppressor hooked up? It is a little can shaped thing that is located on the firewall(well at least in my car) it intercepts the message from the dist before it gets to the gauge. If it is hooked up maybe it is bad or something

I WOULD RATHER PUSH A CAMARO THAN DRIVE AN IMPORT

1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package with 64cc aluminum heads, dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, ASCD SS hood, 16" IROC rims.

future mods:
completely done over suspension, black paint with flames, Hurst shifter, dakota digital gauge package, procharger supercharger.

well I have no clue about speedos but my idea is to hook up one of those noies reducers for car radios. that might work thoes are made to take out the interference of the spark to the aftermarket radio so that might be causing the same problem on the speedo.

hope this helps email me if it does

Mine worked fine for two days, now it acts like the ones posted above. When we first start the car, its fine. Then, after about 5 seconds it shoots to about 50 mph and will climb if you rev the motor.

Anyone fixed this yet???

I've heard something about twisting the input and ground wires around each other helps. I'm not positive though.
