Nope. The rear mount is different and there is no provision for a torque arm mount.

** as stated above the rear mount is diff. but they sell a special mount for 3rd gens.
not sure about the torque arm tho
well i think most of the 90 vettes came with a tpi and a t56

if you already have a 350 engine, maybe tpi? there is really no huge benefit of the engine part but as far as tranny goes it will bolt up to your block, unless you already have a manual tranny in your car now, you will need the pedals, and shifter hole.

if you are interested in the whole swap, thats cool too, as far as i know you will need a new serpentine belt setup.

what engine do you have in your car now? tranny?

C4 Corvettes came with the german ZF 6-spd, not the T56. The short answer is no - it will not work.

Re: c4 t56 will it fit camaro

i figured no but was unsure, i currently have a 350 tpi auto, looking to go 6 speed once a deal comes across, although the car is a B4C so im unsure if i really want to hack it up, thanks 4 the response i passed on the deal guy wanted 1000 for the full engine 6 speed tranny combo off a 90 vette with 90 k miles good deal but i have the same engine so only benefit would be the 6 speed if it fit,

Re: c4 t56 will it fit camaro

Ok but what if you transferred the whole powertrain over from the c4 to the f body? Would it fit? Would you have to change out the whole rear?

Ever been underneath a C4 and SEEN how it's built? As in, LOOKED AT?

Would it fit?
No.

Would you have to change out the whole rear?
Besides the monumental engineering headache that doing that represents, it would be only the beginning.

The short answer is NO. The long answer is NO. While there may be people who can make it happen, if you're posting on the Internet and asking this kind of question, the answer is NO.

Dont hack up your B4C. The automatic in it is a very well made transmission. Just live with it and enjoy it. When you get tired of butchering that car and sell it the next owner will thank you for leaving it intact.
