gas mileage with a th350?

gas mileage with a th350?
How much less gas mileage would I get if I tossed in a th350? I've got a 350tpi with 2.77 gears. What would I have to do to change it from a 700r4 to a th350?

Engine: 406 sbc
Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 9" ME with 4.56 gears
1 you have to get a change over kit from B&M.
2 a new flexplate 168 toth
3 a new starter from a chevy truck
4 a new torque converter
5 a new detent cable
I used the original shifter bracket. The bolt holes don't quite fit right but it still works.Make sure you get one that is the same length as the 700R4. The trans shop told me there was three different sizes. I am pretty sure that is it. It has been a while since i have done it.You will also need to drill some rivets out of the torque arm bracket and go down to the dealer to get a new torque arm bracket mount.I am not sure of the part# but, it will be in the directions that B&M will send you.

I get about 13 mpg with my TH350.
I made my own TA bracket. If you can cut and weld, it's pretty easy to make one. The tranny should be 32" long +/- and 1/8 or so.
