Real main seal leaking ->new clutch plate?

Me rear main seal has been leaking slightly about 1-2 months. I'm going to replace it next week.

The question: is my clutch plate a goner? I sure would not like to buy a new one just because of that! Is it enough if I just clean the plate with a clutch/brake cleaner?
The clutch is slipping occasionally for now.

A "slight" rear main leak will not get on the clutch, because the leak is on the opposite side of the flywheel. So I doubt that the clutch will un-wear itself out.

I'd say that if you're going to all the trouble of tearing the car down that far, and the clutch is hosed, there's not a lot of sense in putting it back together with the old one, which means you'll just have to tear all that stuff down again in a few months to replace it. Go ahead and do it now and get it over with all at once.
