I just got my 88 iroc 305 TPI 5spd back from the shop today. Here is my problem. The car went to the shop to get a freeze out plug that was leeking replaced. They had to lift the engine/tranny a little to do this. They fixed it fine. Today I got the car back, and now right when I shift into 3rd, it grinds a little bit. It has never happened before. If you shift into 3rd at a low low rpm like 1500 it doesnt seem to do it. Could the 3rd gear throttle linkage been thrown off. Or did the employees at PROTECH take the bandit for a little joyride.
