How much horsepower (total) do you think you will have once you install the supercharger? If you think it will approach 475 hp or more then I would install the anti-ballooning plates. Your cost for the Continental 10" Apex non-lock up (2,200-2,400 rpm stall)is $414.00. With the anti-ballooning plates your cost is $544.00. If you want to retain the lockup then you could use the ACT 9.5" (similar to the Vigilante) lockup with a stall from 2,400-2,800 rpm. Cost on this torque converter is $545.00. Then price on the Vigilante is about $700.00+. As you see there are different ways to go!
Hope This Helps!!!
