Can a regular clutch fit on the T-56?
I'm doing a 383 motor in a 91 Z28 with a 305. I'm using a older 350 4 bolt block from a truck. It is a two-piece main seal. The kit I used is a 383 externally balanced. What can I do for a flywheel and clutch. I do not want to use the pull-type clutch and I was wondering if you can use the regular style like the T-5's.

As far as I know, the only way to use a T5 clutch with a T56 is to get the T56 conversion package from Sallee Chevrolet, which includes the specially prepared T56 trans. The regular T56 from a 93-97 f-body requires its own clutch. For a flywheel, contact McLeod.
