Re: speedo doesnt work
If your car is a 90, as your name suggests, you have an electronic speedo, and there is no cable. If your car is 82-89, its cable driven. There were three types of cables: a two-piece used with a transducer in early 80's cars; a two-piece that simply screwed together; and finally a single cable.

Re: speedo doesnt work
Go to a junk yard, carp-part.com has every biggish junkyard on the site. I you can probably find the speedo cable online or look up some common part and then find the closest yard to you with a Camaro and just go there. Or you could buy an aftermarket speedo from somewhere but I wouldn't do that. You don't wanna mess with wiring and gauges alot, that's what the previous owner of my car did and now it's gonna be a major pain to get everything working.

I'd think you could pick something up at a local auto parts store.
