Need help picking torques converter

Okay so i think the torque converter on my 91 formula is going out because it starts vibrating really bad if I hit the gas once the converter locks up. I am looking for a mild converter for under $300. Would this one work?

Re: Need help picking torques converter

Torque converter bolts backing out, rattling and sounding god-awful is pretty common on 3rd gens

Drop the dust cover and see

Info on converters you may want to read

The converter you posted will work, just be forwarned

Re: Need help picking torques converter

Well it seems when the tcc is locked up if i give it gas the trans starts to slip the whole car vibrates and rpms go up but speed doesnt. Does this sound like a bum torque converter?
