T 56 4th gen clutch cylinder not fitting on 3rd gen pedal.
I put a t56 in my 91z28 and now I cant get the slave/clutch cylinder rod to go on the clutch pedal. the end of the rod has a plastic bushing of some sort and it doent fit at all. How did you guys get your on.

i took it off (the bushing) and used a c-clip to hold the rod from falling off the pedal nipple

thanks. that was what i was gonna go next. the end of the piece of the pedal has a groove around it to hold a c clip i think. do you know where i could get one without searching all over the city.
I did the same thing, but there was not a bunch of room for the c-clip. After it popped the second time, I removed the pedal, drilled a small hole near the c-clip groove and put it all back together. When it was all installed, I put a pin through the hole to make sure it doesn't come apart again.
