I put a t56 in my 91z28 and now I cant get the slave/clutch cylinder rod to go on the clutch pedal. the end of the rod has a plastic bushing of some sort and it doent fit at all. How did you guys get your on.

i took it off (the bushing) and used a c-clip to hold the rod from falling off the pedal nipple

I did the same thing, but there was not a bunch of room for the c-clip. After it popped the second time, I removed the pedal, drilled a small hole near the c-clip groove and put it all back together. When it was all installed, I put a pin through the hole to make sure it doesn't come apart again.

Auto zone or an equivalent should sell an assortment. Make sure it fits tightly, or youll have the problem I had with the rod popping off the pedal.
