ive read stuff that say trans ams have the vette servo from the factory , is this true?

 

What year do you have? If it is a 1989 then the transmission is a 2004R. If it is a 700R4 then most likely the Corvette servo is not there. The 553 servo is most likely being used in your transmission.

 

*9's used the 200R4? Why would they do that just of one year and swtch back to the 700's in 90. I was under the impression that 89 TTAs used the 200 while the rest of the F-Bodies used the 700. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

The Grand National Turbo engine used the 200-4R.

 

PBAutomatics, u are thinking of the trans the TTA uses, the GTA uses a 700R4.
