I'm gettin a 6 speed soon and I may need to buy a new clutch, I've never bought a clutch before and I'm not sure which to go with, what is the advantage to buying an aftermarket one over a stock one? and who is good for a fair price, I can't spend alot of money, my car isn't extreme horsepower (mods in sig) or anything so i dont need a clutch which can handle high horsepower.. I've heard centerfoce's clutches werent too good, what other companies make clutches and which one can i go with? if you got a website for them thatd be great. thanks!

That's who I was leaning towards, I only found a couple sites selling the Mcleod's and their site seems to be down while they redo it or something, just says stayed tuned for a bigger and better site.. thanks

I used a metallic RAM clutch with my T56..runs about $400. It's VERY grabby, but nearly indestructable, unless you have 600+rwhp It takes some getting used to, but its well worth it.

How about using an LT4 pressure plate with a McLeod disc? Lots of people run that; is it any good? Why don't they just use the LT1 pressure plate with the McLeod disc? If anyone knows, let me know. Thanks.

LT1 and LT4 are the same PP (pressure Plate). I'm running 423rwhp and this PP is good with a Kevlar disk from www.arlingtonmotorsports.com I've personally seen this setup go low 10's. The disk is about 225 I think. And I got the PP from www.camaroz28.com classifieds used. It had 20k on it. Best of luck.
