Gearbox Mount Broke at track...

They are still the originals, guess they weren't up to a days caning on the strip . If I replace them with standard ones, will it be ok, or should I go for nylon replacements? Thanks

i have no idea what you have avaiable to you there, but i'd replace it with a ES poly mount, you won't break another one and the price is about the same.

Those are famous for being weak in these cars. Like ede said, the one to get is the Energy Suspension one, you can order it from Jeg's or Summit, and not have to worry about it for a long time.

The surest way to fix it is with a Spohn torque arm kit, which mounts the arm to the crossmember instead of loading the tranny mount.

But, the poly mount is a big improvement over the stock rubber.
