I had talked to Dana from probuilt and wanted to go with him, but being half the country away looked locally. Found a small race oriented machine shop/garage, owner has a 69 or so firebird that runs 5.5Xs in the 1/8. At any rate, he is familiar with Trans-go (a rarity down here) and we are going with the 700-2-3 performance shift kit, .471 boot, .296 intermediate, vette servo and the other normals. I know it won't be a pro-built tranny, but he is giving me a year warranty on the built tranny so I'm pretty excited to get it finally taken care of and try out my vigilante TC . . . now a question, should I run synthetic tranny fluid ??
