i was wondering how hard it was to change the front pump on a 700r4 and what it involved to do it any info would help thanks

First you need to pull the tranny. Then you need to pull the pan and remove teh TCC solenoild. Then you need to remove the AuxVB transer tube if its an '87 or later, then remove all the bolts and then get the puller to pull the pump.

Why do you think you need a new pump?

well u see on the fourth of july the front seal on the tranny popped out , ya i know kinda weird. so i pulled the tranny and put a new one in , and when i put the tranny back in i didnt have the converter lined up and started tightening the bell housing bolts i heard two pops. the front pump. and when i started the motor i have nothing the tranny is not pumping fluid. i was in a hurry and messed up. might i add i work on cars all by my self in a garage with no lift just put it up on four car ramps and use a jack so go figure. so it isnt that hard to change then i take it. do u know of any web sites on here that have diagrams of a 700r4. and the tranny is a 89 thanks alot.
