My friend has a 1991 Z28 305 TPI. Now he said when he was at the track, his car wouldnt shift into third at high RPMs. It will shift at low just fine but not when he is slamming on the gas fully accelerating. Does anyone know what this could be? Any info would be awesome. Thanks!!

It sounds like the 3/4 clutches are on the way out and can't hold up under full load. This is a common failure in 700's.
