post shift kit install notes
I just installed a Trans-Go reprogramming kit, vette servo, .471 boost valve, and a 3-4 upshift sleave. I love how the tranny feels, except for one thing that the shift kit didnt fix. It took around 15 hours over 2 days to install it.
When the car is in motion a blip of the trottle will let the RPMs rise without the car accelerating. My dad's 84 suburban speeds up as soon as you hit the gas. When i floor it, the RPMs soar and then the car lurches forward. Why do our trannys seem to lag like that? More importantly how do i fix it. I was assuming that the clutches are glazed and wont stick well unless the pressure is high, but i dont know much about trannys...
any help would be appreciated.

Off hand it sounds like the install may have been a little too late. What happens when you try in in D3? D2?
One other thing, you don't have a real high stall converter do you?
