Just wondering if anyone has ever put a rearend out of a fourth gen camaro into a third gen? Is it possible with little or no modifications? Is it going to be able to handle an older 350 engine with 300+ hp? It currently is on a 94 which was a 3.4 liter V6, 5 speed and will be put in my 86 Z28 with a 350...any suggestions or tips would be appreciated.

 

i believe it'll bolt right up, you'll need 4th gen wheels

if you have 16 inch thirdgen wheels you wont have to have fourth gen wheels, but they will stick out 1.5 to 2 inches on the sides. doesnt really look bad at all. i think with the smaller third gen wheels though you need to get some fourth gen wheels.

 

I have 15 inch Z28 rims...any way these can match up? Can I use parts from my current rearend?
