Alum. driveshaft- noticeable difference

Would a aluminum driveshaft be a worthwhile mod. Will it give me better performance?

In theory there is supposed to be a difference, but in practice, there is absolutuly no difference. Although, I find it to be a worthwile mod. It doesn't take that long either.

If you can get one at a good price, do it.
Easy install and a good Mod.

$125 for a good used one with both u-joints is a good price. I watch e-bay and some fools are
paying around $200 which is way to much. A
brand new 1LE 10085375 alum shaft can be had from gmpartsdirect for $259 so you judge.
