Hey guys, having an interesting issue with my car. The tcc won't lock up by itself. I can get it to lock and unlock by jumping the diagnostic ports, and after that it'll lock up beautifully and work like it should. But, then goes back to it's ways after the engine is turned off and restarted. Any ideas where I should begin ? Also a few other general questions... Is it normal that I can't feel/see the rpms change when shifting up light acceleration? Also is it safe to shift from d to od while moving at say 35 mph or so or should the tranny be automatically shifting into 4th?
