T-56 tranny

Im sure that this question has been asked by countless others but, would a T-56 tranny bolt up to a 1982 Camaro SC w/ a 350? i cant forsee any reason why it wouldnt. help me out a yes/ no answer would be sufficient

yes it will bolt up just fine. if using a 2 piece rear main you need a custom flywheel though. if you are using a 1 piece rear main you can use the stock lt1 flywheel.

If the T-56 is the same length as a T-5, you will need to move your crossmember back around 1 1/2 inches. The driveshaft is also 3 1/4 inches shorter. Good luck.
