Strange 2-3 shift after shift kit install

I had my 700r4 rebuilt by a buddy about 6 months ago. It worked flawless other than it shifted kind of low rpm. When I installed the tuned port motor, I had him install a b&m shift kit. The 1-2 shift is awesome but the 2-3 shift is weird. It shifts, but over rev's, then hits third and comes back down to normal rev's. He say's line pressure is low, but I just wondered if you had any ideas. thanks

This is the major problem with the B&M kit. You wind up with a firm to very firm 1-2 shift, but the 2-3 shift in most cases gets worse, to say nothing about 4th gear. B&M does not address this problem, Trans-Go on the other hand with their Performance Shift kit will address the 2-3 & 3-4 shift problems by increasing the volume of oil to 3rd & 4th about three times, thereby decreasing 2-3 & 3-4 shift times and increasing capacity by a tremendous amount. There are other things the kit does also just to numerous to mention now. If I can be of help call me or e-mail me.
Hope This Helps!!!

Thank You. I looked at your site. I would be interested in the Transgo kits. What kit would be the best choice? Heavy duty/street/strip? I have a 350 Tuned port motor, stock, but with slp headers, 3.27 posi rearend and I have a nitrousworks kit for it. It should see no more the 100hp shot. The tranny worked great after the rebuild, but after the shift kit, it over revs on the 2-3 shift. I am assuming this is what the transgo kit is calling cutloose/spinup. I will let my buddy know, and see if he will change it to the transgo kit for me.If so, I will be in contact with you. Thank you again.
