installing a tranny aint really that hard with the right tools, mostly being a lift and a tranny jack, which is a safe bet that most us lack

the only area i can see running into any problems is the hydraulic clutch linkage assembly

in school, i pulled trannies off to replace the clutch, and it was simple, my first time i did it in flat rate time, and got an A.

sadly in school, we did not go into too much detail about the clutch linkage,

this saddens me becuz my friend wants a T56 in his Impala SS and i know how to do it all except for the clutch linkage

per say, if i was to get the entire linkage assembly from a camaro yard, would everything bolt right in??

we would also need a crossmember...........

but i should be able to find one of those.........

and some clearance might be needed, but thats what hammers and saws are for

if anyone knows a way to hook up the clutch linkage into a automatic car to swap in a T56 i
d gladdly appreciate it
