Questions about T56 I haven't seen answered yet

Yes I've read the entire T56 tech article and install sticky and still have a few questions.

Will the LT1 mini starter work with the T56 swap?:

Will all 4th gen pedals work, or just LT1 93-97 pedals?

Where's the cheapest place to buy the 2 piece rear main T56 flywheel?

Spohn's crossmember won't clear Alston inner SFC's, so can you just trim the crossmember around the connectors?

I'd really like to know if the 98-02 pedals will work. Anyone? I can't imagine much of a difference but I'd like to be sure.

Any crossmember fit inner SFC's?

Re: Questions about T56 I haven't seen answered yet

The 98-02 pedals have a completely different style of clutch pedal. It's really hard to explain without seeing them next to each other. My 94 pedals bolted right into my car with absolutely NO cutting outside of the holes for the clutch hydraulics. I even used the 4th gen gas pedal and it works just fine.

For my starter I used a stock LT4 gear reduction starter and even with my longtubes it is cake to drop out if needed. Once I realized I couldn't be stupid when I wired it up, everything fell right into place no problem. I had to reroute my wiring to it due to the longtubes but other than that the only other problem I ran into was needing a spacer which I got at oriellys for a few bucks. Works perfectly and sounds kinda cool too!

Can't help ya with the other 2 questions though, sorry!

Re: Questions about T56 I haven't seen answered yet

The LT1 regular starter worked on my GEN I sbc. If that starter specifies that it will work on a 4th gen, LT1 M6 car, i dont see why it couldnt work on the GENI or TPI engines.

If you go to my sticky, on the first page i beleive, theres a set of links i posted, because i was just out of $$$ and couldnt afford to spend the $350 on a flywheel (which would be about $400 cdn for me). So i did a ton of research, and came up with a few sites, but they are all atleast $300. I ended up getting mine USED, maybe you can find one too.

4th gen LS1 style pedals wont work.

Ebay, craigslist, buyandsell, racingjunk, kijiji, etc etc....

I went to google, and typed in Centerforce 700107 for sale....

Im in Ontario Canada, and i found a used one in Cali, i phoned the guy right away, and had it shipped to me.

The flywheel weighs 30lbs, so he used a flatrate box from USPS for about $30.
