Monster Super Duty 700R4 trans question?
I have owned my 87' IROC 350cid 700R4 since 1991. I currently have 277,000 miles on the car and my 700R4 has finally bit the dust!!! The trans like all IROCS has the corvette servo. I personally know that TCI and Bow Tie Overdrives suck! I talked to a friend of mine that rebuilds transmissions and he told me that genuine made in USA GM parts are no longer available, instead all the parts are made in China or Taiwan!
I was watching Two Guy's Garage and they were installing a Monster 700R4 trans in a car and they explained all the pieces Monster uses compared to the original. I was very impressed!!!
However, who can you trust !!
If anyone out there knows about Monster Please let me know what you know!
thanks,
john miller

A quick search on here would turn up many people having trouble with less than quality built units from monster.
Pro-Built, PATC, and CK Performance would be better companies to look into.
