You're rolling the dice. I pushed one into the low 11's with no problems and street cars have broken them driving on the street.
You could have a turbo car that has a real soft launch make it last longer than an all motor car hitting it hard off the line.

this is what im getting to. car runs 10.20 on drag radials and has much more in it. lol its a nitrous car equals lots of torque.. im on a stock rear end just curious who else has pushed theirs

All you have to do is hook up hard once and it will break off all the teeth. Having wheel spin off the line will help it survive.

Your getting lucky, its only a matter of time before the 10 bolt will break. I bracket race every weekend and some of the guys I race with used to run 10 bolts and eventually they all broke. Most of these guys were running high 11's.

I have to say, this thread gives me a little hope that my anemic 10 bolt might last at least another season. I worry about it, even behind my little 305, since I'm running slicks and a locker but so far, so good. Like Stephen said though, I know I'm rolling the dice.....

I wish mine would have broke three thousand dollars ago...I got screwd over twice and didn't have money to upgrade at the time.
