going to a th-350

my th350 has the short tail shaft so would it be worth my while to rig the original 700r4 cross member or buy a aftermarket one.

Also with a short tail, 6", you will need a 3 inch longer drive shaft. You can re-use your existing driveshaft if you use a long tail, 9", TH350.

Re: going to a th-350

If you definetely going to use a short tail T-350 and could afford to buy the new torque arm/crossmember I highly reccomend it. I tried to rig the aftermarket brackets up and eventually got fusterated and quit. I even bought both Hurst and B+M kits.

I bought the Spohn X-member + T/A and couldn't be happier with it.
