V-6 T-5 for V-8
Hi. Can i install V8 into my 1988 V6 Camaro with T-5 Borg Warner manual transmission if i'll buy V8 T-5 bellhousing?

Guys have done that. You need to get a clutch disc that matches the splines on the V6 trans... I think the one from an S-10 works.
The V8 swap is the larger issue. It's best to find a donor car to get all the parts you will need... not sure how easy that will be for you in the Ukraine.

thank you. S-10 is hard to find here. 90-96 Chevy Caprice is much easier to find.
I want to buy new clutch kit from 1982 Camaro which was equipped with T-5 , throw out ECM and put carburator on this V8

OK but the splines on a V6 T5 are coarser than on a V8. The V8 uses a 26-spline input shaft, and the V6 is 14.
If you buy a clutch from a V8 Camaro, it won't fit the input shaft on the transmission.

Sorry... I knew I should have looked it up. The 10-spline is the one you want...
So go with the 4.3/5.0 S-10 disc. I am not sure if you can use the whole clutch kit, but I know that's the right disc.
