Whats this bar

Ok I have a 84 berlinetta just finished my t-5 swap. Bought the car with no motor and no trans. When I installed the t-5 today I noticed a bar going from my rear end up. When I push on the bar it moves the rear end. My car was originally a automatic. Where do I mount this bar. And what is it for exactly. And since my car was an automatic am I going to be able to bolt it to the t-5

Re: Whats this bar

Does anyone have a picture of this. I don't see anywhere it would bolt to.

There should be a clam mount on the tailshaft of the t-5.
There are 3 long bolts that go through the tailshaft and bolt to the mount. I'll look for a picture.

Re: Whats this bar

I found a picture of the bracket. But I only have half and no bolts. Does anyone know where I can get a new one. With bolts and everything.

This is wrong. The automatic and manual have different mounts
