Re: non lockup converter info please

anyone? the transgo shift kit (sk700) says

"Corrects/Prevents/Reduces: Absolutely prevents Stuck TV valve. Late shifts, downshift clunk; 3-4 clutch failure; no lockup; 2-4 band failure; early shifts; 1-2 slide/slide-bump; reverse delay hot; 2-3 cutloose;
reverse clutch failure. 83-87:
Kit lets you make Converter lockup-no wires needed."

will this kit also make my non lockup converter lockup?

If you put a non lock up converter in your car you cant make it lock up. Buy another converter.

Purchase a good size external trans cooler to go inline with your current system (through the radiator). A temp gauge to monitor heat is also a good idea but not necessary.

Re: non lockup converter info please

Nope, the bigger the better. Run the fluid into the cooler before the radiator, this helps warm up the fluid faster (on cold days) and keeps the temp stabilized.
