700R4 Full Manual Conversion

Hey guys. I currently have a built 700R4 that has a forward pattern TransGo shift kit that allows holding of gears to any RPM and downshift at any RPM.

I was curious about all that is involved in doing a reverse pattern full manual conversion. Does the whole valve body have to be swapped out (I would assume so for the reverse pattern) or is it as simple as dropping the pan and installing the TransGo reprogramming kit?

Also, how does one go about removing the governer and TV cable.

What are others opinions and experiences with a full manual valve body? This car has been retired to a weekend cruiser so daily drivability is not a concern.

Also, does anyone have reccommendations for any documentation or manuals for the conversion?

Thanks.
