Hydraulic Clutch Problem!

I have a TKO-600 tranny with a Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch inside a lakewood bellhousing behind my zz383!
BUT when i try to get the clutch to release it just wont, I have an aftermarket 3/4 bore slave, and the stock master, from a 86 Camaro.
thoug the car is originally a automatic!

But i just dont get enough travel on the slave cylinder. Anyone have an idea of what is the problem here ?

Re: Hydraulic Clutch Problem!

i have the same setup, except a stock slave, i had a problem like that, turned out to be a worn clutch pedal, inspect the stud that the master cylinder rod connects to inside the car, mine was worn half through, replaced the pedal, no more issues, make sure you properly bleed it also. there are also different size fork pivots i believe.

Re: Hydraulic Clutch Problem!

The fork pivot is adjustable, and properly adjusted.
I shall look at the pedal tonigth and see if it is worn... I bought a complete pedal box from another camaro on ebay, so it might be that its worn out..

Re: Hydraulic Clutch Problem!

The clutch pedal was worn, but I have modified the hookup to the pedal so there was no slop there at all, so i really think the problem lies with the slave beeing to big (3/4 bore) so the stock master can't transfer enough fluid to the slave. So any help would be apreciated ;P
